On 28 and 29 October, CETEM participated in the PEFC Spain General Assembly held in Madrid. As an associated member, CETEM is part of one of the world’s leading forest certification organisations, recognised internationally for promoting sustainable forest management and ensuring the traceability of wood-based products.
The General Assembly provided an opportunity to learn about the organisation’s main strategic priorities, exchange experiences with other sector stakeholders, and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing forest certification in a context increasingly shaped by sustainability, the circular economy, and the growing demand for certified wood products.
