In February, CETEM organised a training workshop as part of the European YEFECE (Youth Entrepreneurship in Furniture Up-cycling for Employment within the Circular Economy) project, aimed at promoting circular entrepreneurship among young people at risk of social exclusion.
The workshop combined hands-on activities with non-formal education methodologies focused on the reuse and transformation of discarded furniture, fostering the development of skills related to sustainability, creativity and entrepreneurship. Participants also explored topics such as eco-design, the development of circular business models and the identification of new employment opportunities linked to the circular economy.
The event contributed to the project’s objectives by enhancing participants’ employability while reinforcing CETEM’s commitment to training, social inclusion and the promotion of more sustainable production models.
