First Meeting of the European SHIFT-VET Project

In December, CETEM hosted the kick-off meeting of the European SHIFT-VET project in Yecla. The initiative, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, aims to strengthen the digital skills of vocational education and training (VET) professionals and organisations in the wood and furniture sector.

During this first transnational meeting, the project partners defined the main lines of action and planned the activities to be carried out throughout the project. These include the development of training resources and capacity-building activities focused on emerging technologies such as 3D printing and virtual reality.

The meeting strengthened collaboration between the participating organisations and established the foundations for the joint development of innovative methodologies that will contribute to modernising vocational education and training and supporting the sector’s adaptation to the challenges of digital transformation.
